In July, the turnover of retail trade enterprises decreased by 0.8 per cent, of food and beverage service enterprises – by 1.3 per cent.

Based on provisional data, in July 2023, the turnover (VAT excluded) of retail trade enterprises amounted to EUR 1 billion 584 million at current prices, and against June 2023, seasonally and calendar adjusted, decreased by 0.8 per cent at constant prices.

Over the month, the turnover of enterprises trading in food products, seasonally and calendar adjusted, decreased by 3 per cent, of those trading in non-food products – increased by 0.2 per cent, of those engaged in retail trade of automotive fuel – 0.6 per cent at constant prices.

In July 2023, against July 2022, the turnover (VAT excluded) of retail trade enterprises, calendar adjusted, decreased by 1.4 per cent at constant prices. The turnover of enterprises trading in food products decreased by 5.4 per cent, of those trading in non-food products – 1,7 per cent, of those engaged in retail trade of automotive fuel increased by 5.2 per cent at constant prices.

In July 2023, the turnover of food and beverage service enterprises (VAT excluded) amounted to EUR 153 million at current prices and, against June 2023, seasonally and calendar adjusted, decreased by 1.3 per cent at constant prices.

In July 2023, against July 2022, calendar adjusted, the turnover of such enterprises decreased by 3.6 per cent at constant prices.
