Prices of goods and services used for personal consumption in March 2023 in relation to February 2023 increased by 0.9% on average. Consumer prices in March 2023 increased by 16.2% in relation to March 2022. Consumer prices in March 2023 in relation to December 2022 increased by 3.7%, on average.

Observed by main groups according to the destination of consumption in March 2023 in relation to the previous month, increase of prices was noted in the groups Food and non-alcoholic beverages (1.8%), Furnishings, household equipment and routine household maintenance (1.4%), Health and Restaurants and hotels (each by 1.2%), Communication and Clothing and footwear (each by 0.5%), Alcoholic beverages and tobacco (0.4%), Transport (0.2%) and in the groups Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels and  Education (each by 0.1%). Decrease of prices was noted in the group Recreation and culture (-0.7%).

Prices of other goods and services mostly remained unchanged.
