The third quarter saw a slight decline in Slovakia’s unemployment rate, according to data from the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic.

From 6.1 percent in the June quarter, the unemployment rate decreased to 6.0 percent in the September quarter.

The unemployment rate was 6.8% during the same time last year.

The labor force survey shows that the number of unemployed people dropped from 169,900 in the second quarter to 168,000 in the third. From a year ago, there were 20,000 fewer unemployed people.
