Norway’s labor force survey statistics from Statistics Norway indicated that the country’s unemployment rate rose in July for the second consecutive month, but only slightly.

As predicted, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased to 3.5 percent in July from 3.4 percent in June.

As reported by the agency, the number of jobless individuals increased to 105,000 in July from 101,000 in June.

According to data, the employment rate decreased from 70.3 percent in June to 70.1% at this time.

At the beginning of the third quarter, the unemployment rate on a trend basis stayed constant at 3.4%.
