The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in April 2022 increased by 16.2% (720 units) to 5,151 units compared to April 2021 (4,431 units).​

Of the 5,151 capacity report approved in April; 1,385 were in İstanbul, 380 in Ankara, 363 in Bursa, 284 in İzmir, 235 in Konya, 183 in Kocaeli, 177 in Gaziantep, 124 in Tekirdağ, 113 in Kayseri, 111 in Adana.

The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database increased by 11% (8,928 units) to 90,207 in April 2022 from 81,279 in April 2021.

According to the Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 10.2% (344,079 units) from 3,379,780 in April 2021 to 3,723,859 in April 2022.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
