In January-February 2023 industrial products at 12,7 billion manats or 2,8 percent less compared to the corresponding period of 2022 were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. The product output in oil-gas sector decreased by 3,7 percent, while in non-oil and gas sector it increased by 6,8 percent.

73,2 percent of industrial products were produced in mining sector, 21,5 percent in manufacturing sector, 4,8 percent in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0,5 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Marketable oil production in mining sector decreased by 6,4 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 0,9 percent.

Production of leather and leather products and shoes in manufacturing sector increased by 3,7 times, production of wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 2,3 times, automobile, trailers and semi-trailers by 2,1 times, polygraphy products by 67,1 percent, pharmaceutical products by 59,4 percent, paper and cardboard by 46,4 percent, construction materials 35,1 percent, tobacco products by 34,7 percent, electrical equipment by 25,8 percent, textile industry products by 25,6 percent, rubber and plastic products by 23,9 percent, production of beverage by 17,9 percent, production of clothes by 17,3 percent, production of food products by 12,7 percent, production of machine and equipment by 10,4 percent, computer, electronic and optical products by 4,9 percent, while production of furniture decreased by 1,3 percent, finished metal products by 4,2 percent, production of oil products by 6,4 percent, chemical industrial products by 17,2 percent, other vehicles by 23,0 percent, metallurgical industrial products by 35,4 percent, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 54,4 percent.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply increased by 8,3 percent, while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it increased by 15,9 percent.
