According to preliminary Statistics Norway data, Norway’s retail sales increased in November as vehicle fuel sales increased once more.

In November, retail sales increased 0.9 percent on a month-over-month basis, up from a 0.2 percent decline in October.

Only retail sales of automobile gasoline increased over the course of the month by 3.4 percent, while sales of goods for entertainment or culture increased by 2.7 percent. Sales in the food and beverage category, meanwhile, saw a very tiny increase of 0.1 percent.

After falling 5.0 percent in October, retail sales fell by a slower 3.6 percent annual rate in November.
