In January 2024, the turnover in ‘Retail trade, except motor vehicles and motorcycles’ at constant prices increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month. The data are preliminary and seasonally adjusted.
Аn increase was observed in the non-food products (except fuel) and in the food, beverages and tobacco – by 2.2% and 0.2%, respectively. A downgrade was registered in the automotive fuel – by 5.3%.
The calendar-adjusted turnover kept the level of the same month in 2023.
А decrease was registered in the automotive fuel in specialised stores – by 13.2%, and in non-food products (except fuel) – by 0.5%, while in the food, beverages and tobacco was observed an increase – by 6.3%.
