According to a study provided by the Commerce Department, personal income in the U.S. grew in August in accordance with forecasts from economists.

According to the Commerce Department, personal income increased by 0.3 percent in August, which was in line with estimates and the upwardly revised gain in July.

Personal spending increased by 0.4 percent in August after dipping by a revised 0.2 percent in July, according to the data.

In contrast to the 0.1 percent increase that was initially announced for the previous month, economists had anticipated a 0.2 percent increase in personal spending.
