Domestic Producer Price Index in Türkiye, September 2022
D-PPI (2003=100) increased by 4.78% on monthly basis, by 82.45% on December of the previous year basis, by 151.50% on same month of the previous year basis and by 114.02% on the twelve months moving averages basis in September 2022.

Manufacturing increased by 127.69% annually
D-PPI in four main sectors of industry increased by 164.59% for mining and stone quarrying, by 127.69% for manufacturing, by 416.58% for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, by 107.84% for water supply, annually.
The indices of main industrial groups; increased by 129.59% for intermediate goods, by 100.36% for durable consumer goods, by 130.54% for non-durable consumer goods, by 347.35% for energy, by 97.29% for capital goods, annually.

Manufacturing increased by 2.65% monthly
D-PPI in four main sectors of industry increased by 4.09% for mining and stone quarrying, by 2.65% for manufacturing, by 16.76% for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, by 12.87% for water supply, monthly.
The indices of main industrial groups; increased by 2.35% for intermediate goods, by 3.16% for durable consumer goods, by 3.86% for non-durable consumer goods, by 12.95% for energy, by 2.37% for capital goods, monthly.

Compared to general D-PPI, lower annual change observed in 23 subdivisions while 6 subdivisions were higher
The lowest rates of annual increase in D-PPI by subdivisions of industry were the indices for other transport equipment by 70.44%, for wearing apparel by 72.40%, for basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutic preparations by 80.51%. On the other hand the highest rates of annual increase in D-PPI by subdivisions of industry were indices for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning by 416.58%, for crude petroleum and natural gas by 245.70%, for coke and refined petroleum products by 213.90%.

The highest rates of monthly decrease in D-PPI by subdivisions of industry were the indices for crude petroleum and natural gas by 3.01%, for coke and refined petroleum products by 2.83%, for metal ores by 2.51%. On the other hand the highest rates of monthly increase in D-PPI by subdivisions of industry were indices for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning by 16.76%, for water; water treatment and supply services by 12.87%, for wearing apparel by 12.02%.
