Compared to February 2025, the volume of sales in all major trade sectors increased.

Compared to the previous month, the volume of sales in retail trade, excluding fuels, has, increased by 13.9% in March 2025.

In the major trade sectors, we register an increase of 40.0% in Retail sale of textiles, clothing, footwear and leather goods in specialised stores, of 19.1% in Retail sale of other goods in specialised stores, of 16.3% in Retail sale of other household equipment in specialised stores, of 12.9% in Retail sale of automotive fuel in specialised stores and of 9.2% in Retail sale in non-specialised stores with food, beverages or tobacco predominating.

Retail trade registered an increase in its volume compared to March 2024.

Compared to March 2024, the volume of sales in retail trade, excluding fuels, has increased by 0.3%.

As for the major trade sectors, there was 6.6% in Retail sale of textiles, clothing, footwear and leather goods in specialised stores, of 4.6% in Retail sale of other goods in specialised stores and of 0.3% in Retail sale of other household equipment in specialised stores.

The largest decreases were observed in Retail sale in non-specialised stores with food, beverages or tobacco predominating with -3.8% and of -0.1% in Retail sale of automotive fuel in specialised stores.
