Consumer Price Index, July 2025 in Türkiye
Consumer price index (CPI) increased by 33.52% annually and increased by 2.06% monthly
A change in general index was realized in CPI (2003=100) on the previous month by increased by 2.06%, on December of the previous year by increased by 19.08%, on same month of the previous year by increased by 33.52% and on the twelve months moving averages basis by increased by 41.13% in July 2025.

CPI for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 27.95% annually
CPI in the 3 main expenditure groups with the highest weight; increased by 27.95% for food and non-alcoholic beverages, increased by 26.57% for transportation, increased by 62.01% for housing annually. The contributions of these main groups to the annual change were 6.94% for food and non-alcoholic beverages, 4.35% for transportation and 9.03% for housing.
CPI for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 0.07% monthly
CPI in the 3 main expenditure groups with the highest weight; increased by 0.07% for food and non-alcoholic beverages, increased by 2.89% for transportation, increased by 5.78% for housing monthly. The contributions of these main groups to the monthly change were 0.02% for food and non-alcoholic beverages, 0.45% for transportation and 0.95% for housing. In July 2025, within indices of 143 basic headings (Classification of Individual Consumption by Purpose-COICOP 5 Digit Level) in the index, the index of 18 basic heading decreased and the index of 5 basic headings remained unchanged while the index of 120 basic headings increased.
The indicator for CPI having specified coverage (B) increased by 33.77% annually and increased by 1.82% monthly
A change in CPI excluding unprocessed food, energy, alcoholic beverages, tobacco and gold was realized in CPI (2003=100) on the previous month by increased by 1.82%, on December of the previous year by increased by 19.40%, on same month of the previous year by increased by 33.77% and on the twelve months moving averages basis by increased by 40.51% in July 2025.
